Anti-Prostaglandin Dehydrogenase 1 (PGDH1, 15-Hydroxyprostaglandin Dehydrogenase [NAD], Hydroxyprost

15-Hydroxyprostaglandin dehydrogenase (15-PGDH) is a novel tumor suppressor in the COX-2 pathway. The protein is found in many normal tissues and appears to be down-regulated in colorectal and lung carcinoma tissue. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: bands may be seen at 29kD (the active form) and 58kD. Optimal dilution determined by the researcher. Positive Controls: Treated A549 lung carcinoma cell lysates and LoVo colon carcinoma cell lysates. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at 4°C. Do not freeze. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
