Anti-POU Domain, Class 3, Transcription Factor 2 (POU3F2, POUF3, Brain 2, Brain Specific Homeobox/PO

Transcription factor that binds preferentially to the recognition sequence which consists of two distinct half-sites, ('GCAT') and ('TAAT'), separated by a nonconserved spacer region of 0, 2, or 3 nucleotides. Positively regulates the genes under the control of corticotropin-releasing hormone (CRH) and CRH II promoters. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1:8000, Western Blot: 0.1-0.3ug/ml, human brain (cerebellum) and in mouse and rat brain lysates observed on ~48kD bands, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
