Product information "Anti-Neurotensin Receptor 2 (NTR2, NT-R-2, Levocabastine Sensitive Neurotensin Receptor, Neurotensin"
NTR2 is a member of GPCR family. It contains a short N-terminal sequence, 7 transmembrane domains and a short cytoplasmic tail. It is a low affinity levocabastine-sensitive receptor for Neurotensin. Activation of NT2R by non-peptide agonists suggests that the receptor can couple to phospholipase C, phospholipase A2 and MAPK. Unlike NTR1, NTR2 is insensitive to GTP and has low sensitivity of sodium ions. Northern Blot analysis detected its expression in adult brain regions including the olfactory system, cerebral and crebellar cortices, hippocampus and hypothalamic nuclei. Its expression has also been found in low levels in kidney, uterus, heart and lung. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 0.2-2ug/ml (mouse), Immunohistochemistry (paraffin): 10ug/ml (human), Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Positve Control: Brain Lysate , Storage and Stability:, May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
