Product information "Anti-KLF10 (Krueppel-like Factor 10, EGR-alpha, Transforming Growth Factor-beta-inducible Early Grow"
LF10 is a 55-65kD member of the Sp1 C2H2-type zinc-finger protein family. It appears to be very widely expressed, and functions as a transcriptional repressor in a noncovalent complex with JARID1B. KLF10 is induced by TGF-B, GDNF and estrogen, and inhibits transcription of genes such as BI-1, OPG and SMAD7. By suppressing SMAD7, it promotes TGF-B signaling. Human KLF10 is 480aa in length and contains three C2H2-type zinc-finger motifs aa369-451. There is one potential alternate splice form that shows a deletion of aa2-11. Over aa31-154, human KLF10 shares 79% aa identity with mouse KLF10/mGIF. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1ug/ml, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
