Anti-Interleukin 9 (Interleukin-9, IL-9, Cytokine P40, T-cell Growth Factor P40, IL9) (APC)

Interleukin-9 is a 14kD glycosylated cytokine that is secreted by CD4+ Th2 cells. It supports the growth of multiple hematopoietic cell types, including Th cells, germinal center B cells, macrophages, mast cells, neutrophils, megakaryocytes, and erythrocytes. IL-9 exerts its biological effects through a receptor complex composed of IL-9 R and the common G chain. Mature human IL-9 shares 57% aa sequence identity with mouse and rat IL-9. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Excitation: 620-650nm , Emission: 660-670nm, Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C before opening. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use. Stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. APC is light sensitive.
