Product information "Anti-HDAC1 (Histone Deacetylase 1, HD1, RPD3L1)"
HDAC1 is an active component of transcriptional corepressor complexes which can be recruited to specific promoter regions via transcriptional factors. HDAC1 catalyzes removal of acetyl-groups from acetyl-lysines of histones and promotes compaction of chromatin in these regions, which leads to the inhibition of gene transcription. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry and Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunofluorescence: 1:100-1:200, Western Blot: 1:500-1:3000, Immunohistochemistry (Formalin fixed paraffin embedded): 10ug/ml, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months.
