Product information "Anti-CSAD"

Protein function: Catalyzes the decarboxylation of L-aspartate, 3-sulfino-L- alanine (cysteine sulfinic acid), and L-cysteate to beta-alanine, hypotaurine and taurine, respectively. The preferred substrate is 3- sulfino-L-alanine. Does not exhibit any decarboxylation activity toward glutamate. [The UniProt Consortium] Buffer: 40% glycerol and PBS (pH 7.2). 0.02% sodium azide is added as preservative. Highest antigen sequence identity to mouse: 85% and to rat: 83%
