Anti-Complement Receptor 2 (CR2, Complement Component (3d/Epstein Barr virus) receptor 2, C3DR, CD21

CD21 is a receptor for the C3d complement fragment and for the Epstein-Barr virus, expressed on mature B cells, follicular dendritic cells, and some epithelial cells. It plays a role in B cell activation and proliferation. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
