Anti-CD79a (FITC), CD5 (PE), Dual Color

CD79a is part of the B cell receptor complex, and is expressed by all B lymphocytes. CD5 is a 67kD glycoprotein expressed by all mature T cells and by a subset of mature B cells. CD5 has been shown to act as a ligand for the B cell marker CD72. CD5 positive B cells have been implicated in the pathogenesis of various autoimmune disorders and are the normal counterpart of the malignant cells in B cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia., This combination of antibodies is useful for simultaneously enumerating CD5 and CD79a positive cells. It may find particular application in the study of CD5 positive B lymphocytes and in the study of chronic lymphoproliferative diseases. The CD79a specific antibody in this combination has been reported to be useful in distinguishing B-CLL from mantle cell lymphoma, Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: Neat, use 10ul to label 100ul of whole blood., Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder is stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O prior to use. To avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot reconstituted stock solution and store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C., Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use.
