CD45 is a receptor-tyrosine phosphatase required for antigen-induced signaling in T-cells and B-cells, its substrates are unknown. Interestingly, it associates with several Src-family tyrosine kinases, which are inhibited by tyrosine phosphorylation in their c-termini, suggesting a mechanism for signaling by CD45. Antigen distribution: B-cells (lg+) > 95%, T-cells (E+) 70 + 10% , Peripheral blood lymphocytes 68 + 8% , T-cells (CD4+) 50 + 10% , Monocytes 50 + 20% , Thymocytes < 5% , Granulocytes < 1%, Applications: Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, Flow Cytometry, Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:500, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Positive Control: RAW264 Cell Lysate, Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
