Cathepsin B is a lysosomal protease expressed in a wide range of tissues, including liver, skeletal muscle and heart. Cathepsin B plays a role in protein degradation and has also been shown to activate urokinase type plasminogen activator (uPA) and certain matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs). Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1:500-1:1000, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
