p120 Catenin is a cadherin-associated protein that binds intracellular proteins, such as the small GTPase, RhoA, and controls E-cadherin funcation and stability. Proteins of the p120 family and their isoforms are expressed in cells via alternative splicing, and all of them are essential for HGF signaling to Rac1. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Western Blot and Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1ug/ml detects p120 Catenin in lysate from Hela cells., Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Positive Control: Hela cell lysate. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
