Product information "Anti-CACNB2 (Calcium channel, voltage-dependent, beta 2 subunit, CAB2, CACNLB2, EA5, EJM, dihydropyr"
The L-type calcium channel is composed of four subunits: alpha-1, alpha-2, beta and gamma. The beta subunit of voltage-dependent calcium channels aids the function of the calcium channel by increasing the peak calcium current, shifting the voltage dependencies of activation and inactivation, modulating G protein inhibition and controlling the alpha-1 subunit membrane targeting. CAB2 is a membrane protein that is expressed in all tissues. The unprocessed precursor is 660 amino acids in length and has a predicted molecular weight of 74.5KDa. It belongs to the calcium channel beta subunit family and contains one SH3 domain. CAB2 is involved in the MAPK signalling pathway and is also associated with Lambert-Eaton myasthenic syndrome. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot and ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 0.1ng/ml, Optimal dilution determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile 40-50% glycerol, ddH2O. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. Aliquot and store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
