Product information "Anti-Anillin (ANLN, Actin binding protein (scraps homolog, Drosophila), DKFZp779A055, Scraps)"
Anillin is an actin-binding protein that can bind septins and is a component of the cytokinetic ring. Anillin is expressed ubiquitously but with variable levels of expression, being highest in the central nervous system. Anillin is overexpressed in diverse common human tumors, but not simply as a consequence of being a proliferation marker. Anillin may have potential as a novel biomarker. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1:16000, Western Blot: 1-3ug/ml, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
