Anti-ADAMTS 5 (Aggrecanase 2, A Disintegrin And Metalloproteinase with Thrombospondin-3 motif)

ADAMTS5, also known as aggrecanase-2 and ADADMTS11, ADAMTS5 precursor consists of multiple domains. The purified rhADAMTS5 starts at the N-terminus of the catalytic domain and ends at the C-terminus of the TSP-1 domain. The amino acid sequence of rhADAMTS5 is 98%, 97%, and 96% identical to that of canine, bovine, and mouse/rat. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Western Blot: 1ug/ml under non-reducing conditions, Immunoprecipitation: 25ug/ml using conditioned cell culture medium spiked with recombinant human ADAMTS5, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
