Primary Antibodies

Primary antibodies play an important role in numerous immunological, biochemical as well as molecular and cell biological applications. For example, they are used for ELISA, Western blot, flow cytometry and for immunohistochemistry. The primary antibodies originate from different host species such as mouse, rabbit or goat. Depending on the manufacturing, polyclonal or monoclonal antibodies can be isolated, which both have individual (dis-)advantages. Primary antibodies are usually combined with a suitable, labeled secondary antibody. Alternatively, there are pre-conjugted primary antibodies for direct antigen detection.

Anti-HIF-1alpha (C-Term)
Anti-HIF-1alpha (C-Term)

Item number: Cay10006421-1

Hypoxia-inducible factor-1alpha (HIF-1alpha) is a transcription factor that accumulates under low-oxygen conditions. Following hypoxic stimulus and cytoplasmic accumulation, HIF-1alpha migrates to the nucleus where with other transcription factors, it drives the production of stress-adaptive proteins. This response...
