RIPA lysis buffer is used to lyse cultured cells for immunoprecipitation and immunoblots. Similar in function to single detergent buffers that include NP-40, sodium chloride and Tris, RIPA is a good first choice for new antigens. Recommended Dilution: Immediately prior to use, add the protease and phosphatase inhibitors for the following final concentrations: 1mM PMSF, 1mM sodium orthovanadate, 1mM sodium fluoride, 1ug/ml aprotinin, 1ug/ml leupeptin, 1ug/ml pepstatin, Solubility: Clear, colorless, complete, pH: 7.5 ± 0.5 , Components:, 150mM NaCl , 1.0% NP-40 , 0.5% deoxycholate (deoxycholic acid, sodium) , 0.1% SDS , 50mM Tris-Cl, Molecular Biology Grade water, 0.2um sterile-filtered, Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at 4°C. Do not freeze. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months. Store in the dark.
