beta-Amanitin

beta-Amanitin is a cyclic peptide found in several species of the Amanita genus, as well as other poisonous fungi. It inhibits RNA polymerase II and III but not RNA polymerase I or bacterial RNA polymerase, thus preventing mammalian protein synthesis.
