Prostaglandin F2beta (PGF2beta) (tromethamine salt) is a derivative of PGF2beta (Cay-16410) with increased water solubility. PGF2beta is the 9beta-hydroxy stereoisomer of PGF2alpha (Cay-16010). It is much less active than PGF2alpha in antifertility and bronchoconstrictor activities.
