Anti-Peroxidase, Horseradish (HRP)

HRP is widely used as an enzymatic label in immunoassays. Usually, the enzyme is coupled to antibodies, lectins or haptens. Coupling to antibodies etc. may be performed through the carbohydrate side chains of the HRP. HRP consists of the basic isoenzyme having a molecular weight of 44kD. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Dot Blot, Immunohistochemistry and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: ELISA: 1:20,000- 1:100,000, Western Blot: 1:2000-1:10,000, Immunohistochemistry: 1:1000-1:5000, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
