Component of a protein kinase signal transduction cascade. Mediator of TRAF6 and TGF-beta signal transduction. Activates IKBKB and MAPK8 in response to TRAF6 signaling. Stimulates NF-kappa-B activation and the p38 MAPK pathway. In osmotic stress signaling, plays a major role in the activation of MAPK8/JNK, but not that of NF-kappa-B. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry, FLISA, Recommended Dilution: FLISA: 1:1,000, Western Blot: 1:100-500, Immunohistochemistry: 1:10-50, Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: FITC conjugates are sensitive to light.
