Recognizes GST-like protein from insect Sf9 cells (Spodoptera frugiperda). No cross-reaction with GST tag from S. japonicum or GST fusion proteins. Immunogen: Full length S. frugiperda GST-like protein, purified from Sf9 cells. Applications: IP, Removal of contaminating GST-like protein from insect expressed GST-fusion proteins. Making GST fusion proteins in Sf9 insect (Spodoptera frugiperda) cells using baculovirus expression, often leads to a band from the insect cells that contaminates your protein, even after affinity purification using GST column chromatography. This antibody antibody against this contaminant GST-like protein can be used to immunoprecipitate out the contaminant band.
