Anti-FOXP3 (Forkhead Box P3, AIID, DIETER, IPEX, JM2, PIDX, SCURFIN, XPID)

FOXP3 is a member of the forkhead/winged-helix family of transcriptional regulators and is highly conserved across mammals. FOXP3 is essential for normal immune homeostasis., FOXP3 is stably and constitutively expressed at a high level in CD25 + CD4 positive regulatory T cells, a low level in CD4-positive/CD25-negative cells, and is absent in CD4-negative/CD8-positive T cells. FOXP3 may be a master regulatory gene and a more specific marker of regulatory T cells than other T cells. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry, Immunocytochemistry and Immunofluorescence. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Western Blot: 1:1000-1:5000 detects a band at ~47.2kD, Immunofluorescence (IC): 1:10-1:500, Immunohistochemistry: 1:50-1:1000. Tested on mouse thymus from an influenza-infected mouse or thymus from healthy mouse. , Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin): 1:200-1:1000, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at 4°C. Do not freeze. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
