Anti-Fibroblast Growth Factor Receptor 1 (FGFR1, FLT 2, FLT2, Fms-like Tyrosine Kinase 2)

Fibroblast growth factors (FGFs) are members of a large family of structurally related polypeptides (17-38kD) that are potent physiological regulators of growth and differentiation of a wide variety of cells of mesodermal, ectodermal and endodermal orig, Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry: 1:100 using immunoperoxidase staining of formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded human and animal sections. Antigen retrieval: trypsin digestion., Western Blot: 1:400 lysate derived from 293T cells transiently transfected wtih the pcDNA3/FGFR-1 plasmid., Note: The epitopes recognized by the antibody are resistant to routine formalin-fixation and paraffin embedding, and to other fixatives e.g. Methacarn, Bouins solution, ethanol,, and B5., Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
