Anti-ENPP2, ID (Ectonucleotide Pyrophosphatase/Phosphodiesterase Family Member 2, E-NPP 2, Extracell

ENPP2 functions as both a phosphodiesterase, which cleaves phosphodiester bonds at the 5' end of oligonucleotides, and a phospholipase, which catalyzes production of lysophosphatidic acid (LPA) in extracellular fluids. LPA evokes growth factor-like responses including stimulation of cell proliferation and chemotaxis. This protein stimulates the motility of tumor cells and has angiogenic properties, and its expression is upregulated in several kinds of carcinomas. The protein is secreted and further processed to make the biologically active form. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Flow Cytometry and Western Blot. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilutions: Flow Cytometry: 1:10-1:50, Western Blot: 1:1000-1:2000, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
