Anti-CABC1 (ADCK3, CABC1, Chaperone activity of bc1 complex-like, mitochondrial, aarF domain-contain

This gene encodes a mitochondrial protein similar to yeast ABC1, which functions in an electron-transferring membrane protein complex in the respiratory chain. It is not related to the family of ABC transporter proteins. Expression of this gene is induced by the tumor suppressor p53 and in response to DNA damage, and inhibiting its expression partially suppresses p53-induced apoptosis. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been found, however, their full-length nature has not been determined. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, ELISA. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1:1000, Western Blot: 1:500~16000, Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
