Ubiquitin and ubiquitin-like (Ubl) protein agarose conjugates may have considerable utility for the capture/pull down of Ubl-interacting partners, including processing/signalling pathway proteins and Ubl-modification substrates, from cell lysates and extracts by affinity binding. Captured proteins can be eluted readily for identification, analysis or for subsequent biochemical reaction.
Suggested uses:
- Capture and analysis of Ubl-interacting proteins from cell/tissue lysates.
- Isolation of specific Ubl-interacting proteins for use in subsequent biochemical experiments.
- Identification of novel Ubl-interacting partners.
- Identification of potential Ubl modification substrates.
